Ally & Mike: A Wedding at Whitney’s inn
The rustic Whitney’s Inn in Jackson, NH serves as the backdrop for Ally & Mikes fall wedding day. The day was 10/10 gorgeous, sunny and warm with peak foliage and hardly a cloud in the sky. Added bonus: one of the brides besties is Savannah Harris of Savvy Floral Design- and holy moly did she hit it out of the park with these florals. Every detail worked so perfectly with the backdrop. The greenery that decorated each table top, the bouquets that highlighted the rust colored bridesmaid dresses so perfectly. I can’t verbally do it justice- you’ll just have to see for yourself! The whole day start to finish was such a fun party full of family and friends. I especially loved capturing sunset with these two over looking the property. I might have photoshopped some horses out of the background of their photos… not that horses aren’t cool but it definitely was adding an accidental touch of 1990’s horse girl aesthetic. Ha. Nevertheless- sheer perfection.
Fall weddings in New England are such a vibe these days. You really can’t beat the crisp New Hampshire air, the vibrant color palate, and cozy ambiance of the season. New England in general is just built for fall. From the beautiful rustic barns and the quaint little villages that dot the landscape, even the ride up to the wedding was so dang gorgeous. Fall continues to be such a popular time for weddings, and I totally get it. Ally and Mike got married on a Thursday- which to me is such a boss move. Wedding dates continue to be booking up years in advance at some venues, and asking your besties and your fam to take a long weekend in the White Mountains is probably the easiest yes you will get. I still have a couple of spots open for fall 2024- so maybe this is the nudge you need to book that fall mountain wedding.
Enjoy this beautiful day! xo am
