Boston(s) (finest) Newborn Photography

I have so many gorgeous portrait sessions from this past year just staring at me saying lfg, that when I have a few minutes I have to just get them up here. So today is your lucky day- as this whole gallery is full of such sweetness. I can’t even. Long overdue on the blog that is for sure!

To know this family, is to love them. And trust me- everyone knows them and everyone loves them. My favorite Uhrig family <3. I have been SO SO LUCKY to follow these beautiful humans around for years now with my camera- and nothing gets me more excited than hearing that someone has found me through them- as they are the friendliest kindest humans and everyone who I meet through them are the absolute same. (Big shout out to ALL of you!)

Through the years I have been so tickled to be able to watch their family grow and watch little Lyla go from chubby cheeked baby to cutie pie toddler and big sister, and get to witness Katy “I don’t like maternity portraits” take maybe the cutest maternity portraits ever (as seen below.)

But those photos are for another day- this post will be focused on the tiniest Uhrig, mister Nash, who I am super confident will be the smallest known human to ever be on ice skates. As we are nearing his first birthday (omg how is time just speeding rn) taking a peek back at al of his sweet tininess is such a treat. Hands full, hearts full is such an understatement to anyone with multiple kids in the mix as our hands are literally quite full of small humans at any point of the day. It’s a wild moment when your family expands again, with your heart so full of one child its hard to imagine having more space for the next sweet little one. But then they are here and your heart explodes all over again, and your hands become more full of fun and chaos and exhaustion.

Happiest Mother’s Day Katy, and all you mamas out there actually reading this far down haha. I hope your hands are full of something other than kids on Sunday! HA. Because who are we kidding- all we want for Mother’s Day is a lot of love, a heavy dose of alone time, and if you happen to have a couple stiff cocktails (or pieces of chocolate if cocktails are not your jam) then all the better!
