Spring in New England, Let’s Go!
We have FINALLY made it friends! The leaves are starting to pop, the flowering trees are doing their flowering thing, and the grass is starting to kind of get green … kind of. AND I AM SO EXCITED. Mostly because my vitamin d deprived self is starting to slowly unthaw, the color is returning to my face ever so slightly- but mostly because the greater Boston area is coming back to life and with that lots of gorgeous colors are coming back to the natural surroundings. Hooray.
If I was to name a spot my office, it would be a coin flip between Newburyport and Beacon Hill. I feel like this time of year I am ping ponging between the beautiful cobble stone streets surrounding Boston Public Garden and the beautiful cobble stone streets lining downtown Newburyport. It’s either the weeping willows and flowering trees by the Swan Boats, or the greens of the grasses lining the pathways to the beach on Plum Island. It was a coin flip to see what I would blog first, and Plum Island- you win again (and again and again.) Julie and Ron had an exciting day to say the least, and a hazy afternoon on the beach was the cherry on top of the whole afternoon. I love hitting. the beach at odd hours off season as it is quiet, and the sand is smooth and untouched, and frankly less random people to photoshop out of the water is always a nice bonus.
When I say we have fun at engagement shoots- I’m not lying. We have fun, we move around, we get all the weirds out and hopefully everyone kind of just forgets I’m there. These portraits are freaking fullllll of love and fun. I am SO excited to share them with you.
